Announcement of Race to the Top Commencement Challenge winner delayed, announcement expected May 9

Courtesy of MCS’ Marketing and Communications Department—Today, the White House announced that it has delayed announcing the winner of the 2011 Race to the Top Commencement Challenge. The delay is due to scheduling constraints. The announcement will now take place on Monday, May 9, 2011. Booker T. Washington High School is a finalist in the 2011 Race to the Top Commencement Challenge. The winning school will have President Barack Obama deliver their commencement address.
